We've tried a variety of litters from your usual clumping stuff, to several varieties of tofu based litter, and several varieties of crystal litter like this. This stuff is cheaper than most crystal litters we've tried and seems to work at least as well, but it comes in smaller bags which somewhat mitigates the price benefit (it takes 2 bags to fill our litter box). The usual benefits of crystal litter are long lasting, odor control, easy to scoop and clean. Here's how it compares for us: Quantity: 4/5 stars. Unlike the competing brands we've tried, this litter requires 2 bags to fill our litter box. BUT considering the 2 bags still cost less than 1 bag of the competitor, it's still a win on price. Scooping: 5/5 stars. Like most crystal litter we've tried, it's super easy to scoop and sift. And scooping doesn't use up the litter since it desiccates rather than clumping. Tracking: 4/5 stars. In our experience, tofu litter has had the least tracking, and crystal litters tend to travel around the house more. I have an older cat who is very particular about everything, including her litter box. I was nervous about switching but she took to it right away. The odor control is on another level compared to what I was using before. I also love that there's no perfume smell, it just smells like nothing, which is exactly what you want. The bag is a good size and I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Already ordered a second bag.

The tracking issue I had with my old litter was driving me crazy. Crystals everywhere, on the couch, in the hallway, you name it. This one is so much better. My orange tabby digs around like crazy in the box and there's a fraction of what used to end up on the floor. The odor control is excellent too. I ordered the two pack and I think it's going to last me a solid month and a half. Really happy with this purchase.

Bought this after seeing it recommended in a cat owners group and I'm really happy with it. The crystals look clean, barely any tracking around the box, and the smell control is great. I used to scoop every single day with my old litter and now I'm doing it every few days with no odor issues. My litter box area actually looks presentable now which is a bonus. Great product, reasonable price for what you get.
